well here’s one excerpt

It’s from early in the third major section, “The Universe Collapsed.”  Danny Hsing-Berry, the orchestra’s violin player, jams on a Velvet Underground song with some of the other musicians.  Even though I’m nearly finished with the book, I’m finding it difficult to find excerpts to post.  The later pieces are very dependent on the earlier ones.  The early parts need to be punched up a bit; they’re not quite where I want them.  It’s very frustrating because this book, Q Without A U–if I do say so myself–is going to rock.
