book three

I just finished Book Three of Q Without A U. “Finished” might be an overstatement in that there will be a lot of rewrites, but still…  Q is divided into 4 books:

1. The Collapsible Universe
2. The Very Persistent Hacker
3. The Universe Collapsed
4. The Death of Amanda N

(The novel’s structure was conceived long before Richard Kelly’s brilliant Donnie Darko and it’s coinage of the term “tangent universe”)

Book 4 is really just a little coda: 50 pages or so, and I’ve already written a bunch of it.  This of course means I’m quite close to having a full draft of the novel finished. (what? what?)
